JL3 Casino Terms Glossary: What Game and Promotion Rules Actually Say
By JL3 Editorial Team
- Rule zero: 21 and overPhilippine casino play starts at 21, and the JL3 lobby prints a 21+ mark of its own.
- One destination: 76JLEach button carries a referral link to 76JL; none of them lands in the JL3 lobby.

This casino terms glossary covers the twelve words that cause most misunderstandings in game screens and promotion rules. Each entry gives a plain definition and, where a number helps, a worked peso example. Read it alongside any promotion body before you accept, because one misread word can cost a whole balance.
Casino terms glossary, part one: what the info screen says
If you cannot say what a number on the info screen means, do not stake on it yet. These describe the game itself:
- RTP (return to player). A long-run payback percentage: what share of all pesos wagered drifts back to players. Mahjong Ways prints 96.92%. JILI prints no RTP for any title, so its entry is “not published”.
- House edge. 100% minus the RTP. Gates of Olympus, at 96.50%, therefore keeps 3.50 pesos of every 100 staked, on average and in the very long run.
- Volatility. How returns are spread. JILI tags Super Ace LOW-MED, while Pragmatic Play’s rating for Gates of Olympus 1000 is very high. The slot volatility article works through what that does to a budget.
- Hit frequency. How often, out of all spins, anything at all comes back. A “win” smaller than the stake still counts as a hit.
- Payline and ways to win. A payline is a fixed path; ways count adjacency on any row. Crazy777 has 1 payline, Super Ace 1024 ways; the payline explainer shows the arithmetic.
- Max win. The studio’s ceiling for one outcome, such as 10000x on Super Ace. It describes the rarest result, not a target.
- Scatter and wild. Scatters count wherever they land, often to start a feature; wilds fill in for other symbols.
The edge here is that a long-run figure says nothing about tonight. RTP and house edge describe millions of spins, so a session can land far from either.
JL3 casino terms in promotion rules
Read the promotion’s terms as a contract, because they work like one. Three conditions recur in JL3’s promotion bodies: electronic games only, a turnover target, and a limit of one claim per member. A fourth bites later: a bank-card edit made ahead of the first cash-out wipes the promotion and its winnings. Four terms decide what those rules mean in practice:
| Term | Definition | Peso example |
|---|---|---|
| Turnover | Total staked, counted every time | ₱50 bet ten times is ₱500 turnover |
| Wagering requirement | Turnover needed before withdrawal | ₱100 bonus at 10x needs ₱1,000 in bets |
| Max cashout | Cap on what promotion winnings can pay out | Read the promotion body for it |
| Loss limit | Your own ceiling on losses for a period | Set before login, never during |
Game weighting: why the same bet clears different amounts
A bet only counts toward turnover at its game’s weighting. If a promotion counts slots at 100% and another game type at 20%, a ₱100 bet clears ₱100 on a slot and ₱20 on the other. At JL3 the promotion text limits promotion funds to electronic games, so read which games that covers before you place a bet with them.
Problem: a promotion balance seems stuck after hours of play. Fix: check whether your bets were on a low-weighted game; a JILI slot and a live table can count very differently toward the same requirement.
Bet unit: the frame between bankroll and session length
Size the unit first, then the session follows from it. A bet unit is one standard stake, worked out in three steps:
- Write down the session bankroll, for example ₱1,000.
- Choose how many bets it should cover, for example 100.
- Divide: ₱1,000 over 100 bets is a ₱10 unit; over 50 bets it is ₱20. The bankroll management article builds a full plan from this number.
The exception is a promotion with a maximum bet rule, which can cap your unit lower than you planned while its funds are in play. More articles are on the JL3 blog home, and new players at 21+ can open a JL3 register form.
How to Get Started
-
Find the term in the rule you are reading
Open the promotion body or the game's info screen and note each word you would not be able to explain to a friend.
-
Look each word up before accepting
Read the definition here, then reread the sentence in the rule with the meaning in mind.
-
Ask live chat about anything still unclear
If a rule uses a term in an unusual way, ask the operator's support before you accept the offer, and keep the answer.
